Friday evening by the computer...

This weekend I have so much to do. Only God knows which end I am going to start with - but in the end everything will be alright, that's for sure.

Today is my younger sister's birthday!!! She turns 40 and tomorrow we will celebrate her. I have to come up with something that makes her happy. Probably I can tell her a bad joke or just be myself... A dinner in a nice restaurant - just her and me. That'll do.

Darkness

It has been real dark here the last days but today the big light broke through the heavy clouds. When the days are dark grey it is hard to stay awake it's like you have hard time to hold your eyes wide open... hehe...

This weekend

Today I have been asking around if someone can take care of our daughter while her parents, us, are trying to make our new house liveable. No one should ever believe us if we said that we are going to move there very soon - I mean V-E-R-Y soon... Really! I didn't make it...everyone seemed to be busy today. Poor little girl! She wants to play but no one is avaible...

Yesterday I was visiting my lovely friend who is living with her family in Stockholm. She is home for a couple of days. At last I had the opportunity to meet her son who is 4,5 months. Well, I have met him before but the first time he was so tiny so I wouldn't dare to touch him. The second time was when his parents got married and everyone had to make acquainted with him - not me. I had other things to do... But yesterday- I cuddled him and played with him- so did my daughter too. She really liked him a lot!!! We both did!

Hello again

I have decided to go on writing here on my blogg in English! I have noticed that my English has worsen since I am not using it much. So from now on I will be back here again, writing in English just for myself. Because, who on earth is going to find me here in cyberworld? That´s fine with me! Really!

The world's worst dog - isn't mine

I have been complaining about my dog to people. She is really a dog that sometimes brings the worst out of me. Indoors she is the most wonderful dog, nice and cute in every single way but when we are outdoors she behaves real bad. I get furious when she is about attacking things like cars, bicyclists and everything else that moves. Anyhow, recently I started to spray water on her when she behaves badly. And guess what: it works perfectly well!!!

The other day my workmate came to me and said that I had to read this book about the dog Marley. She knows how I struggle with my dog and thought this book would make me feel better. Did it? YES! It is the most wonderful book, I have laughed a lot and I have also cried occasionally. If you like pets a lot I really recommend this book. It is such a loving story about a couple and their dog. You must read it. The author's name is John Grogan and the title is "Marley and me. Life and love with the world's worst dog."

The essay

I am happy to say that we did go to Malmö this weekend. It was a lovely trip! Malmö is such a nice city. I was kind of disappointed when I visited my favourite shops because I couldn't find anything real nice. But I survived!

Now time has come to send my second essay to my teacher Maria. I started to write quite long ago but I can't stop checking and changing it. When I read it I can hear that I repeat myself a lot but I don't know how to do it in another way... Well, Friday is the last day and it will be done till then. After that we are going to write a paper about a book that we have read. It is a tricky task. I don't know how to do it yet, but it usually works out fine in the end anyhow.

I have been in bed with high temperature all weekend, just as I predicted. My daughter got the gastric flu on Saturday too, this weekend has been a wonderful moment of life. We had to cancel her birthdayparty - again. The weekend before we cancelled another birthdayparty because of me beeing sick.

Let's hope that we are feeling just fine this weekend because we are going to Malmö to watch Disney on ice with some friends of ours.
